With more than 12,000 employees, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina has earned honors as a top employer in the state and a top competitor for Medicare and Tricare business nationally. The Information Systems Division was concerned about the need to develop IT leaders to handle the changing business environment and the need to replace those in IT who would be retiring or moving on, and the organization began to look for a partner to help. Teaming with Zenger Folkman, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Information Systems Division, that includes 2,500 employees, designed and implemented a program that is making a difference.
